Work for Workthing - Company information pages
On the Workthing site providing candidates with information about a company they are looking at a vacancy for is a big thing. Companies who purchase more than one vacancy are usually encouraged to have a company information page, or hub as they are otherwise referred to. This page can be accessed from the Employer search results page and the individual vacancies themselves.
Below are examples of company information pages that I have produced while working at Workthing for companies such as Beefeater, Bridgenorth Aluminium, Toyota, and many more.
By clicking on the thumbnail of the image you will be able to view the full page, if you have JavaScript enabled then this page will open up in a new window to simulate a real Workthing hosted company information page.
Beefeater
The raw materials supplied for this hub were digital versions of several brochures that Beefeater were using for their recruitment campaign at the time. These supplied PDF files contained all the necessary information with regards to the general look and feel of what was required as well as some images to choose from. My task was to take the information that these PDF provided and combine it with the text that had been supplied separately for the hub.
Bridgenorth Aluminium
The only raw materials for this hub that came in a digital format was the text itself, everything else was to be taken from the corporate brochure that had been posted to us.
The images for the hub had already been pre-selected by the account handler I just had to first scan them in from the brochure before I could use them. I then rebuilt the background image of the two rollers that was taken from the company logo in Fireworks as even when scanned in, there wasn't an available option from the brochure of a suitable size and quality.
Toyota
For the Toyota hub we were supplied with a PDF version of a press advert that they had created, from this the imagery and look and feel were taken and combined with the supplied text.
Other assorted company information pages
The brief for the hubs below was a little more standard to what we usually get asked to do, using the supplied text, take the look and feel from the company website.
